Nicole Hardoy

Hello CCDS! After going to Chico State to get my Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture Business, I spent a year substitute teaching around my hometown area of Lockwood, CA. I then made the decision to come back to Chico state in order to get my teaching credential. I was lucky enough to do a semester of student teaching at Durham elementary and then joined CCDS in 2019 as a 3rd grade student teacher.

My favorite teacher growing up was first grade with Miss Pence. She was an innovative, kind, and caring teacher who spent her days singing through the curriculum to keep us engaged and while pushing us to be our best. She not only taught me how to read, but fostered a love a reading that I carry with me today!

I enjoy spending my time hiking, gardening, or relaxing in Bidwell Park. My family is very important to me so I spend as much time as possible with them.
