Irene Henkens

I joined the CCDS team in 2018 as the middle school office manager, but this school has held a special place in my heart ever since my eldest daughter started kindergarten in 2011. I feel very lucky to work with such a strong team of educators, and to be part of a community that values each and every student who walks through our doors.

I love spending time with my husband and two daughters (and my two chocolate labs!) in the outdoors. We love hiking, boating, camping, and are currently trying to visit as many of our beautiful national parks as possible. One of my favorite quotes is from Mother Teresa: “Do ordinary things with extraordinary love.”
