Annie Finney

Hello CCDS Families! My name is Annie Finney and I love the awesome community at Chico Country Day! I am thrilled to teach kindergarten with the best team in town. It is truly an honor to foster a love of learning in young scholars. Kindergarten is a time of great exploration and fantastic growth, there is nowhere I would rather be! 

I grew up on the beach in Southern CA and came to Chico to get my teaching credential. I have a minor in special education with a focus on child development. My favorite teachers were Mrs. Resor and Mrs. Munce. They were kind, patient, and caring. To this day I am still inspired by these excellent educators and remember how they made me feel cared for.

I met my husband while in college and have been married for 22 years. We have three lovely children and a sweet mutt. We all love adventure and the great outdoors. I’m looking forward to the next adventure with my kinder kits in Mrs. Finney’s Fox Den!
