Sydney Brusato

Hi! I am a born and raised Chicoan and proud CCDS alumni! I attended Cabrillo College in Aptos, CA to play volleyball. I spent two years there, but ultimately missed home and moved back to be close to family. I attended Chico State, where I received both my undergraduate degree and teaching credential. I also had the pleasure of completing my student teaching at CCDS and am now very happy to be a part of this community. This is my second year teaching first grade and I am so looking forward to it. I absolutely love being a teacher!  It is so meaningful to me to experience new learning with my students. Kids are the best. And now I have my own!

This spring I had a baby boy, Briggs. I absolutely love being a mom and spend all my free time with him and my husband. Family is everything to me so most weekends are filled  with my little family and my siblings, nieces, nephews, and mom. Volleyball is another passion of mine, I have coaching the JV team at PVHS for 5 years, but I took some time off this year to be with my little one. I would love to make it back sometime but for now I’ll be cheering in the crowd!
