We believe that everyone is a learner.

We believe students should have a voice in their own learning.

Welcome to Chico Country Day School!

We are a TK-8 Charter School with a commitment to Student Centered Learning and to developing both academic strength and strength of character in our students. We also believe that the family is the child’s first and most important teacher, and we look forward to working, learning and teaching with you.

At CCDS our primary purpose is to educate our students toward becoming engaged and thriving learners.

Through a united school, parent and community effort, CCDS emphasizes social consciousness, personal responsibility, self-confidence and compassion, and appreciation and respect for the natural world.

We recognize we are preparing our kids for jobs that may not even exist yet, so creativity, problem solving, and critical thinking are essential to their future success.

We welcome you to browse our site, learn about who we are as a school, and consider applying to attend.

"My kids and I have never had a day where we regretted choosing CCDS. Their admin, staff and teachers are caring, engaged, and always ready to keep learning."

    Hi!

We just secured this date - which will kick off our enrollment season and a special week called #weareccds Week.

No need to be there for the entire time - we'll figure out shifts and my goal is to have parents here, too. Maybe even a class can share their work?

    It should be a blast!
